Beyoncé was gracious enough to set down with Good Morning America, while on tour in London for the “Mrs. Carter Show” world tour. The interview was the usual fair nothing mind blowing. She spoke about her movie role in Epic, how she wants to protect Blue Ivy and the Cuba debacle. She and Jay-Z decided to visit for their fifth wedding anniversary. Everyone chimed in about the fact Cuba is a communist country and questioned if they had the proper permits, which I thought was pointless. But what I found interesting was the fact that Beyoncé tapped dance around the question. She played it cool and the interviewer didn’t press for a real answer.

Kelly Rowland undoubtedly has been making moves this year. She ended 2012 with a host of collaborations from Future and Ludacris to Big Boi and she also has created quite the buzz with the first single from her upcoming album, Kisses Down Low and her new powerhouse r&b collabo with Fantasia, ‘Without Me.’
The sleeping dragon has finally awoken! Mariah has dropped her brand new single “Beautiful” featuring Miguel.
Let’s jump into this thang!
Upon my first listen I was underwhelmed by the track, but on my second go round I was really digging it. The beginning of the song is classic with an amazing guitar riff. The dissonance in the beat accompanied by Miguel’s voice was stellar. However, Mariah’s part was kinda blah. Her vocal part wasn’t that long or creative in terms of arrangement. Also, her voice had been layered more than the kid in The Christmas Story. It almost felt like she was featured on her own song. This is the second time Mariah has taken a back seat on her own track. IDK!
Chris Kelly, half of the 1990’s duo Kris Kross, was pronounced dead around 5 pm on Wednesday at the Atlanta Medical Center. Though his death is still being investigated, Fulton County police are speculating an apparent over dose. He was 34 years of age.
Kris Kross made a major impact in the 90’s both fashionably and muzically when they stepped on the scene rocking backwards Cross Colours. Their “totally krossed out” look and catchy lyrics helped the rap duo “Jump” to #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, holding the top spot for more than eight weeks.
Maybe I’m giving this more attention than it deserves, but Ray J has taken the term “thirst” to another level. Matter of fact, he is practically starving for attention with the release of his video “I Hit it First.” Six years after their self-made film, and he still can’t seem to get over the reality television star made famous by his d**k let him tell it.
Ray J denies rumors the song is targeted toward Kim K quoting to Hot 97, “It’s just a song. It’s not about that, it’s a concept. People goin’ way too deep.”
