Lets mash them up!
My Sister’s Keeper
Michelle Williams has been the talk of the town lately after a stellar Super Bowl perfomance and a brief verbal sparing with Keyshia Cole. However, with all that behind her Michelle sat down with Billboard to disuss her next steps.
I was rather shocked at the deets she dropped about her new album.
On DC3 being together again.
Michelle Williams is really going back to her roots. She has partnered with GMC and Light Records to judge the Most Powerful Voices contest. The contest was announced eariler this year, but now the deadling has been extend until Feb 28th.
The winner of the contest will be offer an amazing opportunity to perform with other Light Records artist in Central Park and offer numerous prizes. In my opionion, the biggest reward is the chance to meet people that could advance one’s career.
Michelle Williams has inked a MAJOR deal with Light Records. She is returning to her gospel roots for her next album set to release next year in January. Light Records is home to gospel artist such as: Shirley Cesar, Bishop Paul Morton, James Fortune & Fiya, Coko and Jessica Reedy (runner-up from BET’s Sunday’s Best). The name Light Records is synonymous with gospel music.
The president of Light Records stated this about Michelle:
Michelle Williams is set to make an appearance on Styled by June, which airs on VH1. This episode will probably be an emotional one after watching the clip. Michelle struggles with her identity and feeling confident. Destiny’s Child sky rocketed Michelle, but since her gospel solo project Heart to Yours back in 02 sadly her success has weaned. She has been in movies and plays, but still has not really broke major ground with her mainstream music.
