Angie Stones newest single “Do What You Gotta Do” is a nice soul jam.  Angie sounds amazing on this joint.  This the best she has sonded in years.  In the song, shr hits some sweet high notes and does some deep down riffs that shocked me.  She infuses mellow soul into the track in a very simply, but effective way.  This song is a great summer time groove and I could hear it playing in a lounge.  Bravo Angie!

The song is about finding courage by looking to one’s self to  “do what you gotta do.”  The lyrics are inspirational and would be a nice cut to listen to after a long hard day at work.
