Toni Braxton has been bitten by the acting bug!  However, her new role is for the kids and a good cause.

According to Thisisrnb.com, Toni is starring in an interactive children’s musical film titled “The Oogieloves in The Big Balloon Adventure.”  Toni speaks about her character.  “My character is absolutely wonderful. She is all of the singers in the business. From myself to Gladys Knight to Mariah and J. Lo… little parodies on how us divas act,” says Braxton.

The project is due August 29 and also features Cloris Leachman and Jaime Pressly.

Toni is excited about the film because it is light hearted and fun.

“It gives them a chance to participate,” says Braxton. “I’m proud to be part of it. It encourages young children to sing and dance and have fun from beginning to end. It’s just one big happy party of a film.”
