Meet the new Barbie Doll and guess what she is a Drag Queen.  Meet the new Drag Barbie created by designers Phillipe Blond, who cross dresses and David Blond.  The doll was model after ‘The Blonds” the design duo team.

An official description for the doll describes the drag queen figurine as ‘pretty, provocative, and magical’.

 

It says: ‘Phillipe and David Blond believe that every woman should be glamorous every day

 

Although the doll has not been given the official name of “drag queen” the sentiment is there.

The Cathy Cline, vice president of marketing for Mattel told the New York Times,”One of the great things about Barbie is that she continues to push the  envelope. Barbie doesn’t worry about what other people think.”

The doll can be purchased for a whooping $125. Pre-order here because guess what this is a collectors item.
